Ilica House is a contemporary residential transformation that redefines the relationship between interior and exterior through flexibility, social interaction, and spatial performance. Located in Çeşme, İzmir, with open views toward the sea and Ilica Beach, the project was shaped by the client’s deep connection to music and the desire for a home that supports both intimate living and large-scale gatherings. The house was envisioned not only as a private residence but also as a dynamic environment for events, rehearsals, and creative production.

The spatial layout is organized around a sequence of interconnected social zones that emphasize visual and physical continuity. At the heart of the design, the outdoor pool functions as a central gathering element, around which indoor and outdoor living areas are seamlessly arranged. Large sliding openings reinforce the fluid relationship between inside and outside, while terraces and open stair connections multiply social possibilities.

The existing structural system was preserved, allowing a minimal and modern reinterpretation through refined material choices, integrated greenery, and custom-designed elements. Natural light, warm textures, and a restrained palette define the overall atmosphere, transforming the house into a vibrant yet serene living environment.
