The volume follows the natural slope of the site through a series of stepped terraces, establishing distinct relationships with gardens, pools, and views at each level. Rather than addressing a single façade, the residence becomes a sequence of spaces that are shaped by and embedded within the surrounding topography.

The combination of white plaster and natural stone gives the façade a character that is both light and grounded. Curved overhangs shade the upper levels, providing passive solar control during the summer months while giving the building a soft, fluid silhouette. The pool, waterfall wall, and seating terraces at the lower levels extend the outdoor space as a natural continuation of the interior.

The interior material palette is based on a balanced combination of warm oak timber and veined marble. In the living area, the fireplace becomes a focal point through its marble-clad backdrop and concealed ceiling lighting, while the long marble island in the kitchen extends the same material language into a functional element. Timber cabinetry contrasts with the veined texture of the marble, bringing warmth and a refined sense of balance to the interiors.

Aksoy House was designed as a holiday and living residence suited to the everyday rhythm of Çeşme—offering privacy for family life while remaining open to hosting guests, with a strong emphasis on material quality and spatial fluidity.
