Ilıca House goes beyond a conventional renovation project, redefining the relationship between interior and exterior through flexibility, social interaction, and spatial performance. Located in Çeşme, İzmir, overlooking Ilıca Beach and the sea, the residence was shaped around the client’s passion for music and the desire to create a living environment that could accommodate both intimate gatherings and larger social events. In this sense, the house has evolved beyond a conventional residence into a dynamic space for events, rehearsals, and creative production.

The plan is organized around social spaces interconnected through visual and physical connections. The outdoor pool forms a strong focal point at the heart of these spaces. Large sliding doors establish a seamless flow between the interior and exterior living areas, while terraces and open staircases reinforce spatial continuity throughout the house.

The existing structural system was preserved and reinterpreted through a minimalist approach. Natural materials, greenery, daylight, and custom-designed furniture come together to create a warm, cohesive, and inviting atmosphere.
